Cameron is an amazing 7 year old boy. He's smart and sassy, kind and thoughtful of others.
He's the big brother of his 2 siblings Zac & Emi.
Around Easter 2023, Cameron had a typical fever that he couldn't shake. After many
frustrating trips to medical clinics and emergency rooms, he was admitted to Children's
Boston hospital and diagnosed with Leukemia "AML".. His team of doctors at Children's expect
the inpatient treatment to take approximately 6 months. Outpatient care will go on for
approximatlry 9 months to a year afterwards..
Out of the blue, this has hit everyone hard, especially Cam's beautiful young family. Cam's parents both hustle tirelessly to run their small business, they have no "family leave" or corporate benefits. 16 months of medical bills, travel expenses, child care, tutors, etc can be devastating to any family. Our goal is to raise funds to help ease the family's financial burden in this most stressful time. No one at this point can calculate the exact burden on the immediate family, but rest assured ALL funds derived from this endeavor will be cherished and properly used. Any funds that remain after Cameron's road to recovery is complete will be donated to either Boston Children's Hospital or other families with similar circumstances.. This is a promise..
